Day 12: Sunday, May 22nd, Week two recap

This week was very productive and enjoyable as well. To recap this week there was a lot of trial and error with the senior slideshow. At first, it was deleted, but miraculously the tech desk was able to revive it and I felt very lucky. Without them I would have to re-do the whole slide show which took me about 7 hours, between timing the photos and making sure the photos zoomed in correctly. Today I worked more on the senior slideshow because I made the photos 2.4 seconds instead of 2.5 to make the slideshow fit with the music. Each day, I would either work on my slideshow or I spent a lot of time on the reflection paper and final touch ups to my concentration research. I spent a lot of time talking with Lindsey about the project too, mainly in person. This week I learned a lot more about editing and video making in imovie and more of how to make the video look better and more professional just by playing around with it. I really enjoyed what I was working on. The reflection was interesting to me because I was able to reflect on the past two years of my concentration work. Even the slideshow was enjoyable, although at times it could get a bit boring. But when it became boring I would just listen to music or go for a quick run to become more focused. Everything happened as I thought it would, except for when the project was deleted for a bit which was stressful at the moment. From this week's activities I will benefit from them because I learned more about making imovies/ technology which will benefit me in college. Writing reflection papers can be difficult, so writing one this week was a good exercise for all the reflection papers I might write in the future in college. Everything I have done this week has helped me reach my goals because I became a better writer, thinker, patient individual, and learner in general. It was a good week! Hours today: 1 Total: 51
